The WFSB Program Committee has organized a blind tasting of some of the most popular red wine grape varietals including, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Barbera, Tempranillo, and Malbec. The tasting will be in four flights, each flight featuring three wines.
The influence of “terroire” will be one of the highlights during this tasting, as we contrast Pinot Noir, Malbec, Cabs etc. from different regions of the world.
Charcuterie, cheeses, pork tenderloin, and freshly baked baguettes will be served. Notes and educational material will be provided on the grape varietals, and a film on terroire will be shown. 

As the tasting will be blind, it will be an experience that will be both educational and perhaps humbling.
